Rick McClish

As a descendent of an 1853 Pioneering Sonoma County Family, Rick’s roots are well established in the local community. Throughout his 40 years of service to the construction industry and his clients, Rick has served on countless boards, has founded and developed several large award winning commercial-industrial construction companies, has authored construction related articles as well as one book on Urban Development, has been a teacher and mentor to several generations of construction hopefuls, and has been involved in many charitable causes.

Always committed to learning, evolving, growing, challenge and service, Rick has pushed his employees towards excellence, transparency, and honesty in all dealings. This attitude has helped to create a rich environment which has allowed FDC to accomplish more than the sum of its parts. Under Rick’s guidance and leadership, FDC has been a major player in the wine industry, the brewing industry, the waste and recycling industry, the automobile industry, and countless other markets too long to list here. FDC has built dozens of banks, schools, performing arts facilities, cold storage buildings, wineries, breweries, geothermal and methane power plants, auto dealerships, self storage, high-end custom residential, large multi-use projects, multi-residential projects, retail, wholesale, tenant improvements, low to medium rise buildings, underground facilities, etc. It is fair to say that after 40 years, Rick and his company have constructed almost every type of project using every combination of construction materials and technologies. Clients served 40 years ago and along the way have remained loyal to Rick and his company.
